1/4 inch WRAS latching / bi-stable water solenoid valve – RPE 3115BB
A low-power, WRAS-approved latching solenoid valve designed for potable water applications where energy efficiency is essential. The RPE 3115BB uses short pulse signals to open and close, requiring no continuous power to maintain position, making it ideal for battery-powered and smart water systems.

Operating principle
A short low-power pulse (approximately 15 ms) energises the internal magnet to open the valve and hold it open without continuous power.
A short reverse-polarity pulse (approximately 15 ms) cancels the magnetic field, allowing the valve to close.
This open/close sequence is repeated as required, resulting in extremely low overall power consumption.
