1¼" WRAS Stainless Steel Modulating Motorised Ball Valve – ABV12S/9M
The ABV12S/9M is a premium 1¼" WRAS approved motorised stainless steel ball valve designed for precise proportional control of potable water in commercial and industrial applications. Combining a full-bore 304 stainless steel ball valve with an IP67 electric modulating actuator, it provides accurate valve positioning, integrated 4–20mA position feedback and optional failsafe return for demanding automated flow control systems.
Available with 4–20mA, 0–5V or 0–10V control inputs, the ABV12S/9M is suitable for Building Management Systems (BMS), PLC automation, water treatment, booster systems and industrial process control.
Featuring WRAS approved PTFE and EPDM sealing materials, ISO 5211 direct mounting and a compact 12–24V DC actuator, this valve provides a reliable solution for applications requiring proportional valve positioning rather than simple ON/OFF operation.

Modulating Control & Position Feedback
The ABV12S/9M supports precise proportional valve positioning using industrial analogue control signals. The actuator automatically adjusts the ball valve position according to the selected control input, allowing controlled water flow regulation.

This output provides a switching indication for compatible PLC, BMS and external monitoring circuits.
The yellow wire is not a proportional position feedback signal. Electrical output ratings and external circuit requirements should be confirmed before connection.

The ABV12S/9M is also available with a failsafe electric actuator, designated ABV12S/9MAR.
