Description
1½" Zero Pressure Brass Solenoid Valve – CS AD40
CS Fluid Power Assisted-Lift Normally Closed Solenoid Valve
The CS Fluid Power AD40 is a very high-flow 1½" assisted-lift (Magnalift) 2/2 way normally closed brass solenoid valve designed for vacuum, zero-pressure and general industrial fluid control applications.
Unlike conventional pilot-operated valves, the assisted-lift design requires no minimum pressure differential, allowing operation from 0 Bar while retaining a large 35mm orifice and exceptionally high flow capacity.
Suitable for air, water, light oils, vacuum and compatible fluids and gases, the AD40 combines a forged brass body, stainless steel internals and a serviceable diaphragm design for reliable continuous-duty operation.
Typical Applications
High-flow compressed air systems
Water and fluid handling
Vacuum systems
Gravity-fed and low-pressure systems
Light oil and fuel systems
Industrial gases

Why Choose the AD Assisted-Lift Valve?
The AD40 combines the zero-pressure capability of an assisted-lift valve with the very high flow capacity required by larger 1½" pipework.
Its Magnalift construction allows reliable operation from 0 Bar differential pressure, including vacuum applications, while the large 35mm orifice provides a Kv flow factor of 400 L/min.
This makes the AD40 particularly suitable for vacuum, gravity-fed, low-pressure and variable-pressure systems where a conventional pilot-operated solenoid valve may not operate reliably.
