Description
1/8" Zero Pressure Brass Solenoid Valve – CS AD6
CS Fluid Power Direct-Acting Normally Closed Solenoid Valve
The CS Fluid Power AD6 is a compact 1/8" direct-acting 2/2 way normally closed brass solenoid valve designed for vacuum, zero-pressure and general industrial fluid and gas control applications.
Unlike pressure-assisted or pilot-operated valves, the direct-acting design requires no minimum pressure differential, allowing reliable operation from 0 Bar and making the AD6 particularly suitable for vacuum, low-pressure and intermittent pressure applications.
Available with 3mm, 4mm or 5mm orifices, the AD6 series provides a choice of flow and pressure capabilities to suit air, water, light oils, inert gases, vacuum and compatible fluids up to 50 cSt.

Why Choose the AD6 Direct-Acting Valve?
The AD6 is particularly useful where a conventional pilot-operated solenoid valve cannot function because there is insufficient pressure differential across the valve.
Its direct-acting design operates from 0 Bar and under vacuum, making it suitable for low-pressure systems, vessel drainage, vacuum lines and applications where system pressure may fluctuate or fall completely to zero.
The three available orifice sizes also allow the valve to be selected according to the required balance between maximum pressure and flow capacity — from the 3mm AD6A for operation up to 10 Bar AC through to the higher-flow 5mm AD6C.
