Description

DN15–DN50 Flanged Brass Solenoid Valve – CS Fluid Power ADF15-50

Normally Closed Zero-Rated PN16 Flanged Solenoid Valve – 0 to 10 Bar

The CS Fluid Power ADF15-50 is a heavy-duty flanged brass solenoid valve designed for reliable automatic control of air, water, vacuum, light oils and other compatible industrial fluids and gases.

Using a 2/2 way normally closed, zero-rated assisted-lift design, the valve operates from 0 Bar differential pressure, making it suitable for applications where conventional pilot-operated valves requiring a minimum pressure differential cannot be used.

Available from DN15 to DN50 with PN16 flanges as standard, the ADF Series provides large 15–51 mm internal orifices and high flow capacity. Maximum pressure is 10 Bar AC / 7 Bar DC through DN40, with the DN50 rated to 7 Bar AC / 5 Bar DC.

Valve Function & Operation

Function: 2/2 way normally closed
Operation: Assisted lift, zero rated
The ADF15-50 remains closed when electrical power is removed. Energising the solenoid operator lifts the valve mechanism and allows flow through the valve.
Its zero-rated assisted-lift design allows operation from 0 Bar differential pressure, combining the advantages of direct operation at low differential pressure with the larger flow capacity required for DN15 to DN50 pipelines.
Opening / closing time: 50 ms maximum
Mounting position: Coil upright

Zero-Rated Flanged Flow Control

The ADF15-50 combines the convenience of a flanged industrial valve with zero-rated assisted-lift solenoid operation.
Unlike conventional pilot-operated valves that require a minimum pressure differential to open, the ADF Series operates from 0 Bar, making it particularly useful for low-pressure systems, gravity-fed applications and installations where differential pressure may fall close to zero.
With sizes from DN15 to DN50, flow capacities up to 686.4 L/min at 1 Bar pressure drop and several flange and seal configurations, the series provides a versatile solution for larger industrial pipelines.
