1/4" & 3/8" 3/2 Way Direct Acting Solenoid Valve – Shako AM325
The Shako AM325 Series is a high-flow 3/2 way normally closed direct acting solenoid valve designed for reliable control of compressed air, vacuum, gases and compatible fluids.
Available with 1/4" or 3/8" BSP ports, the AM325 operates from zero pressure differential, making it particularly suitable for vacuum, low-pressure pneumatic systems and applications where a pilot-operated valve cannot be used.
The direct acting design provides fast, sensitive response, while the robust aluminium alloy body, stainless steel internals and powerful Nass Magnet System 13/30 solenoid operator provide dependable continuous-duty operation in demanding industrial applications. Direct Acting Operation
The AM325 uses a direct acting solenoid mechanism, meaning the solenoid operates the valve without relying on system pressure to assist switching.
Power OFF → The valve remains in its normally closed position.
Power ON → The solenoid directly lifts the internal sealing mechanism, connecting the pressure port to the outlet.
This provides reliable operation from 0 Bar and makes the AM325 particularly useful for vacuum, low-pressure and variable-pressure systems.
3/2 Way Pneumatic Function
As a 3/2 way valve, the AM325 has three ports and two operating positions.
In the normally closed position, the pressure supply is closed and the outlet can vent through the M5 exhaust port.
When energised, the pressure supply is connected to the outlet and the exhaust is closed.
This allows the AM325 to control single-acting pneumatic cylinders, small actuators and pneumatic pilot circuits.
