Description
1/8" & 1/4" 300 Bar Fire Suppression Solenoid Valve – EN52052 / EN52054
The ERA SIB EN52052 and EN52054 are specialist high-pressure solenoid valves for automated fire suppression and fire extinguishing systems, designed for the control of CO₂, nitrogen, Inergen and compatible fire suppression gases.
Featuring a 2/2 way normally closed, direct-acting design with manual override, the valves operate from zero differential pressure through to 300 Bar, providing positive electrical control without requiring a minimum inlet pressure. The manufacturer specifically identifies the EN52052 / EN52054 as direct-operated solenoid valves for fire fighting systems.
Available with 1/8" or 1/4" BSP connections, the valves combine stainless steel construction, PTFE + EPDM sealing, a 0.7mm orifice and fast switching in a compact design intended for demanding high-pressure fire protection installations.
Valve Function & Operation
Function: 2/2 way normally closed
Operation: Direct acting
Manual override: Included
The EN52052 / EN52054 remains closed when de-energised and opens when the solenoid is energised.
Because the valve is direct acting, operation does not depend upon pressure differential across the valve. This allows operation from 0 Bar through to 300 Bar, making it suitable for high-pressure stored-gas fire suppression systems.
A manual override is incorporated into the valve, providing a mechanical method of operating the valve when required.

Why Choose the EN52052 / EN52054?
The EN52052 and EN52054 are not simply general-purpose high-pressure solenoid valves. They are specifically designed as direct-operated solenoid valves for fire fighting systems.
Their combination of 0–300 Bar operation, zero pressure differential, normally closed failsafe function, manual override, stainless steel construction and PTFE + EPDM seals makes them particularly suitable for high-pressure gaseous fire suppression equipment.
The compact 0.7mm direct-acting design also provides rapid operation, with opening and closing times specified at 30 milliseconds maximum.
Repair & Maintenance
Replacement components are available for servicing the valve, including:
✓ Replacement solenoid coil
✓ Complete plunger assembly
✓ Replacement O-rings / seals
