The SVOM-24 Super Strong Solenoid Valve Operating Magnet is the largest and most powerful operating magnet in the Connexion range, designed for the manual operation, testing and commissioning of large industrial solenoid valves without electrical power.
Delivering an impressive 40kg pull force and 40,000 Gauss magnetic flux density, the SVOM-24 contains three high-strength N42 NdFeB Neodymium magnets encapsulated within a durable ABS housing. This exceptional magnetic strength allows engineers to manually operate large process valves, high-pressure solenoid valves and oversized armatures that cannot be reliably operated using standard commissioning magnets.

Designed for Large Industrial Solenoid Valves
Unlike standard operating magnets, the SVOM-24 has sufficient magnetic force to operate many large process solenoid valves used throughout industry.
For solenoid valves exceeding 24mm armature tube diameter, the magnet can often be placed directly onto the top of the armature tube, where the concentrated 40kg magnetic pull force can lift the armature into the energised position.

How the Solenoid Valve Operating Magnet Works
The SVOM-24 replaces the electrical coil during maintenance and commissioning operations.
- Isolate the electrical supply.
- Remove the solenoid coil.
- Place the operating magnet over the armature tube or valve stem.
- The magnetic field lifts the armature into the energised position.
- Refit the solenoid coil when normal operation is required.
This allows engineers to operate valves manually without wiring temporary electrical supplies or energising the system.
