YD & BHL Compressed Air Filter Elements – Dust, Coalescing & Activated Carbon
Replacement compressed air filter elements for YD and BHL industrial air filter housings, available in dust, high-efficiency coalescing and activated carbon filtration grades.
Designed for demanding compressed air systems, these elements provide staged removal of dry particles, water and oil aerosols, oil vapour and odours.
Filtration options range from 5 micron general coalescing filtration down to 0.01 micron high-efficiency filtration, with activated carbon available for final oil vapour and odour removal.
The layered filter construction incorporates robust stainless steel inner and outer support layers to maintain element stability, protect the filtration media and reduce the risk of secondary contamination. High porosity provides excellent dust-holding capacity while maintaining compressed-air flow.
Positive FPM O-ring sealing before and after the filtration media helps prevent contamination bypass, while the anti-re-entrainment barrier reduces water and oil carry-over. Unlike conventional media that can become saturated with liquid, the YD element design promotes coalescence, allowing collected aerosols to fall into the filter bowl while maintaining airflow and dirt retention.
Elements are available for YD and compatible BHL filter sizes with nominal flows from 72 to 620m³/min depending on model. YD filter elements have a recommended replacement period of up to 6,000–8,000 operating hours under suitable operating conditions.
