A low-power, WRAS-approved latching solenoid valve designed for potable water applications where minimal energy consumption is essential. The RPE 4105BB operates using short pulse signals to open and close, requiring no continuous power to maintain position, making it ideal for battery-powered and smart water systems.

Operating principle
A short low-power pulse (approximately 15 ms) energises the internal magnet to open the valve and hold it open without continuous power.
A short reverse-polarity pulse (approximately 15–20 ms) cancels the magnetic field, allowing the valve to close.
This open/close sequence is repeated as required, resulting in extremely low overall power consumption.
