1/8" & 1/4" 3/2 Way Banjo Solenoid Valve – PU320B
The PU320B is a compact 3/2 way normally closed direct acting solenoid valve with an integral banjo bolt connection, designed for reliable control of compressed air in pneumatic automation and machinery applications.
Available with 1/8" or 1/4" male BSP connections, the direct acting design operates from zero pressure differential up to 8 Bar. The compact banjo arrangement is particularly useful where installation space is limited or where the solenoid valve needs to be mounted directly onto a pneumatic component.
The PU320B features a manual override, M5 exhaust, 1.3mm orifice and fast switching time of up to 20 milliseconds. A standard IP65 industrial coil is supplied, with an optional ATEX explosion-protected solenoid operator available for hazardous-area applications.

Banjo Valve Operation
The PU320B uses a direct acting solenoid mechanism, allowing reliable switching without requiring a minimum inlet pressure.
When the coil is de-energised, the valve remains in its normally closed position.
Energising the coil lifts the armature and changes the 3/2 way flow path, providing a pneumatic output through the banjo connection.
When de-energised, the valve returns to its normal position and allows the downstream pneumatic circuit to exhaust through the M5 exhaust port.
The manual override allows the valve to be operated mechanically during installation, commissioning or maintenance.
Banjo Bolt Connection
The compact banjo connection allows the pneumatic outlet to be integrated directly into the valve assembly, reducing installation space compared with a conventional solenoid valve and separate elbow fitting.
This makes the PU320B particularly useful for compact pneumatic machinery, OEM equipment and installations where conventional valve and fitting arrangements would occupy excessive space.
