Description
Vacuum Pressure Regulator – Shako UVR Series
The Shako UVR Series is a compact vacuum pressure regulator designed to provide accurate and stable vacuum control in industrial automation, vacuum handling and pneumatic systems.
Available with 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" ports, the UVR uses a piston regulating mechanism and provides adjustment from -100 to -1.3 kPa (-1.0 to -0.013 Bar) with a maximum rated flow of 200 L/min.

The UVR regulates and maintains the required vacuum level downstream of an existing vacuum source.
It does not increase the maximum vacuum generated by the vacuum pump. Shako also advises that air suction during pressure adjustment is normal.

This range of connection sizes allows the same regulator design to be used across small and medium-sized industrial vacuum systems.
Piston Regulator Design
The UVR incorporates a piston-operated regulating mechanism for controlled adjustment of downstream vacuum pressure.
The large adjustment knob allows the required vacuum level to be set easily, making the regulator particularly useful where vacuum needs to be reduced or controlled independently of the vacuum pump.

The compact aluminium construction provides a robust regulator suitable for installation within industrial machinery and pneumatic control systems.
Vacuum Gauge
An optional vacuum gauge can be fitted directly to the regulator, providing a clear indication of the regulated vacuum level.
Shako specifically states that a vacuum pressure gauge should be used and warns that fitting an unsuitable pressure gauge may damage the gauge.

Panel mounting uses an M42 × 1.5 mounting thread, making the UVR particularly convenient for installation through machine panels and control enclosures.
