Shako PU225H Normally Open Solenoid Valve Seal & Diaphragm Kit
Genuine Shako PU225H seal and diaphragm repair kit for PU225H Series 2/2 way normally open high-pressure solenoid valves.
The kit contains the principal internal sealing and operating components including the normally open plunger, plunger spring, armature tube O-ring, reinforced diaphragm and diaphragm spring.
Available with NBR, EPDM, FKM (Viton) or HNBR seals, with kits selected according to the valve port size and required seal material.

Seal Material Options
NBR – general-purpose sealing material
EPDM – particularly suited to compatible water-based media
FKM (Viton) – improved resistance to many oils, fuels and chemicals
HNBR – enhanced mechanical and chemical resistance for compatible applications
Maximum Media Temperature: +90°C
Although the individual elastomer materials may have higher theoretical temperature capabilities, the PU225H valve and reinforced diaphragm assembly are rated to a maximum media temperature of +90°C. This valve rating must not be exceeded.

Normally Open Operation
The PU225H is a 2/2 way normally open, failsafe-open solenoid valve.
The valve remains open when electrical power is removed and closes when the solenoid is energised, making the configuration suitable for applications requiring flow to return automatically on loss of electrical power.
The replacement kit therefore uses a normally open plunger and corresponding spring arrangement specifically designed for the normally open PU225H valve.
Reinforced Diaphragm
The PU225H uses an elastomer diaphragm with reinforcement to provide the strength and dimensional stability required for pressure-assisted operation.
Because the diaphragm is a composite assembly rather than simply a solid piece of elastomer, the temperature capability of the complete assembly should not be assumed from the theoretical maximum temperature of the elastomer alone.
For the PU225H, use the manufacturer's specified +90°C maximum media temperature.
