M5 5/2 Way Single Solenoid Pneumatic Valve – PU521S
The Shako PU521S is a compact 15mm wide M5 5/2 way single solenoid pneumatic valve designed for reliable directional control of small double-acting pneumatic cylinders and actuators.
Featuring internal pilot operation and spring return, the PU521S combines a high flow capacity for its compact size with fast response, manual override and robust anodised aluminium construction.
Available as either a body-ported valve or base-mounted version for multi-station manifold systems, the PU521 Series is ideal for OEM machinery, compact automation equipment and pneumatic control systems where installation space is limited.

Single Solenoid Operation
The PU521S uses an internally piloted single-solenoid design with spring return.
Power ON → The solenoid operates the internal pilot, shifting the main spool to direct compressed air to one side of the double-acting pneumatic cylinder while exhausting the opposite side.
Power OFF → The internal spring automatically returns the spool to its normal position, reversing the airflow to the cylinder or actuator.
A manual override is incorporated into the valve for commissioning, maintenance and functional testing without electrical operation.
Body-Ported & Base-Mounted Versions
The PU521 Series is available in two configurations:
PU521A-M5-S – Body Ported
M5 pneumatic connections are incorporated directly into the valve body for individual installation.
PU521B-M5-S – Base Mounted
Designed for mounting onto a compatible MF521 manifold or sub-base, providing a compact solution for multiple-valve installations.
MF521 Manifold Systems
The base-mounted PU521B can be installed onto compatible MF521 multi-station manifolds for compact pneumatic control assemblies.
This makes the PU521 particularly suitable for OEM machinery requiring several pneumatic valves within a restricted installation area.
