M5 5/2 Way Double Solenoid Pneumatic Valve – PU521D
The Shako PU521D is a compact 15mm wide M5 5/2 way double solenoid pneumatic valve designed for reliable directional control of small double-acting pneumatic cylinders and actuators.
Featuring internal pilot operation and bistable double-solenoid control, the valve switches between two operating positions and maintains its last selected position until the opposite solenoid is energised.
Available as either a body-ported valve or base-mounted version for multi-station manifold systems, the PU521D combines compact dimensions with approximately 0.25 Cv flow capacity, making it ideal for OEM machinery, compact automation equipment and pneumatic control systems where installation space is limited.

Double Solenoid Operation
The PU521D uses two solenoids to provide bistable 5/2 way directional control.
Energising one solenoid shifts the internal pilot and main spool to one operating position, supplying one cylinder port while exhausting the opposite port.
Energising the opposite solenoid shifts the spool to the reverse operating position, reversing the airflow to the double-acting cylinder or actuator.
The bistable spool remains in its last selected position after the electrical signal is removed and changes position when the opposite solenoid is energised.
Manual overrides allow commissioning, maintenance and functional testing without electrical operation.

PU521A-M5-D – Body Ported
M5 pneumatic connections are incorporated directly into the valve body for individual installation or use with the appropriate manifold arrangement.
PU521B-M5-D – Base Mounted
Designed for installation onto a compatible MF521 base manifold, providing a particularly compact solution for multi-valve pneumatic control systems.

Compatible MF521 multi-station manifold systems are available for applications requiring several PU521 valves in a compact assembly.
