The MSV40152 is a compact 5/2 way pneumatic mechanical valve designed for reliable directional control of double-acting pneumatic cylinders, actuators and compressed air systems.
Available with a wide range of mechanical, manual and air pilot operators, the MSV40152 provides flexible pneumatic switching without requiring a solenoid valve or electrical supply. Its compact aluminium construction and 1/8" ports make it particularly suitable for machinery, pneumatic sequencing, position sensing and OEM automation equipment.
With operation from zero pressure and multiple actuator options, the MSV40152 provides a simple and dependable solution where mechanical movement, manual input or a pneumatic pilot signal is required to control a 5/2 way pneumatic circuit.

Valve Operation
The MSV40152 provides direct control of a 5/2 way pneumatic circuit for operating double-acting pneumatic cylinders and actuators.
Depending on the selected operator, the valve can be actuated manually by push button or lever, mechanically by machine movement using a roller or plunger, or pneumatically using the air pilot version.
Operating the valve changes the supply and exhaust connections between the two actuator ports, reversing the direction of a connected double-acting pneumatic cylinder or actuator.
Because no electrical supply or solenoid coil is required, the MSV40152 is particularly useful for purely pneumatic machinery and mechanically controlled automation systems.
Mechanical Operator Applications
Roller and one-way roller operators can be positioned so that moving machine components, slides or cylinders mechanically actuate the valve.
Ball plunger versions provide compact mechanical position actuation, while push button, finger button and toggle lever versions provide direct operator control.
The air pilot version allows the same 5/2 way valve function to be controlled remotely by a pneumatic signal rather than mechanical movement.
Mounting & Installation
The compact MSV40152 is suitable for machine mounting and pneumatic control-panel installations.
A 12mm mounting nut arrangement allows compatible operator versions to be conveniently installed through a machine panel or mounting surface.
The choice of mechanical and pneumatic operators allows the valve to be positioned close to the equipment being controlled, reducing the need for electrical switches and associated wiring.
