1/4" 5/2 Way Double Solenoid Pneumatic Valve – PU52002D
The PU52002D is a high-flow 1/4" 5/2 way double solenoid pneumatic valve designed for reliable directional control of double-acting pneumatic cylinders and actuators. Its internal pilot operation provides fast, dependable switching for industrial automation, OEM machinery and pneumatic control systems.
Unlike a single-solenoid spring-return valve, the double-solenoid PU52002D maintains its last switched spool position until the opposite solenoid is energised, making it ideal for applications requiring maintained pneumatic positioning.
With a surface-anodised aluminium body, lockable manual overrides, 18mm² effective flow area, IP65 protection and optional ATEX / IECEx explosion-protected coils, the PU52002D provides reliable long-term performance in demanding compressed-air applications.

Double Solenoid Operation
Each solenoid shifts the valve spool to its respective operating position, directing compressed air alternately between the two actuator ports.
After switching, the valve remains in its last commanded position until the opposite solenoid is energised. This bistable operation is particularly useful for double-acting pneumatic cylinders and actuators where the last selected valve position needs to be maintained after the electrical signal is removed.
The lockable manual overrides allow commissioning, maintenance and functional testing without electrical power.
