1/4" 5/2 Way Double Solenoid Pneumatic Valve – BM520D
The BM520D is a high-flow 1/4" 5/2 way double solenoid pneumatic valve designed for reliable directional control of double-acting pneumatic cylinders and air actuators.
Its compact 22mm anodised aluminium body, internal pilot operation and bistable double-solenoid design provide dependable pneumatic switching with maintained spool position after the electrical signal is removed.
With lockable manual overrides, IP65 protection and body or manifold mounting options, the BM520D is ideal for industrial automation, OEM machinery, pneumatic control panels and multi-valve installations.

Double Solenoid Operation
The BM520D uses two independently controlled solenoids to shift the valve spool between its two operating positions.
Energising one solenoid shifts the valve to one position. Energising the opposite solenoid shifts the valve to the alternate position.
Once switched, the valve remains in its last selected position after the electrical signal is removed until the opposite solenoid is energised. This bistable operation is particularly useful where the commanded pneumatic position needs to be maintained without continuously energising a coil.
The lockable manual overrides allow valve operation during commissioning, machine setup, maintenance and functional testing without electrical power.
