3/8"–2" Brass Solenoid Valve 0.5–80 Bar – SAHH Series


The CS Fluid Power SAHH Series is a high-pressure 2/2 way normally closed brass solenoid valve designed for reliable automatic control of air, water, light oils and steam in demanding industrial applications. Featuring a pressure-assisted piston design, stainless steel internal components and PTFE seals, the SAHH range provides dependable operation at differential pressures from 0.5 to 80 bar.

Available in 3/8" to 2" BSP female threaded connections, these industrial solenoid valves offer high flow capacities up to 800 L/min, making them suitable for high-pressure water systems, compressed air equipment, industrial process control and steam applications.

The SAHH Series combines robust brass construction with a continuous-duty WPG2 solenoid coil, providing reliable electrically operated flow control for industrial installations requiring high pressure capability and long-term performance.

Key Operating Features

The SAHH is a 2/2 way normally closed solenoid valve, remaining closed when electrical power is removed and opening when the coil is energised.
Its servo-assisted piston mechanism uses the pressure differential across the valve to assist opening and closing, requiring a minimum differential pressure of 0.5 bar.
The valve is rated for operating pressures up to 80 bar with air and water, while steam applications are limited to a maximum of 12 bar.
Opening and closing times are specified at a maximum of 200 milliseconds.

Port Sizes & Flow Capacity

The SAHH Series is available in seven BSP female threaded sizes:
  • 3/8" BSP – 15mm orifice, Kv 75 L/min
  • 1/2" BSP – 15mm orifice, Kv 75 L/min
  • 3/4" BSP – 20mm orifice, Kv 155 L/min
  • 1" BSP – 25mm orifice, Kv 220 L/min
  • 1¼" BSP – 35mm orifice, Kv 433 L/min
  • 1½" BSP – 35mm orifice, Kv 433 L/min
  • 2" BSP – 50mm orifice, Kv 800 L/min
These flow ratings are based on the manufacturer's published Kv values. Select the appropriate port size and orifice to suit the required system flow and pressure differential.
Optional NPT threaded connections are available upon request.

The SAHH Series features a robust brass valve body with stainless steel internal components for reliable operation under elevated pressure.

The SAHH Series uses the WPG2 solenoid coil, designed for continuous operation with a 100% duty rating.

The manufacturer specifies an IP68 coil with an IP67 LED electrical connector, offering protection against dust and water ingress when correctly assembled.

Installation & Maintenance

The SAHH Series should be installed with the solenoid coil in the upright position, as specified by the manufacturer.
A minimum pressure differential of 0.5 bar must be maintained for correct servo-assisted operation.
Replacement WPG2 solenoid coils and SP210 piston repair kits are available to support maintenance and extend the service life of the valve.
Optional stainless steel construction, NPT threads and degreased configurations may be available upon request.
