3/8"–2" High Pressure Brass Solenoid Valve 0.5–40 Bar – SAH Series
The CS Fluid Power SAH Series is a high-pressure 2/2 way normally closed brass solenoid valve designed for reliable automatic control of compressed air, water, steam and compatible light oils. Available in 3/8" to 2" BSP female connections, the SAH Series features a servo-assisted piston design, PTFE seals and operating pressures from 0.5 to 40 bar for air and water applications.
Designed for demanding industrial environments, the SAH Series combines a robust brass body with stainless steel internal components, a continuously rated Class H solenoid coil and high-flow orifices from 15mm to 50mm.
With flow coefficients up to Kv 686.4 L/min, the range is suitable for high-pressure water systems, compressed air installations, steam control, industrial process equipment and automated fluid distribution.
Normally Closed Servo-Assisted Operation
The SAH Series is a 2/2 way normally closed solenoid valve using a servo-assisted piston mechanism.
Power OFF → Valve CLOSED, preventing fluid flow.
Power ON → Valve OPEN, allowing fluid to pass through the valve.
Power Failure → Valve returns to its normally closed position.
The servo-assisted piston design uses the pressure differential across the valve to assist operation, allowing high-pressure control with an electrically operated solenoid.
A minimum differential pressure of 0.5 bar is required for reliable operation.
The SAH Series is therefore unsuitable for zero-pressure or gravity-fed systems where sufficient differential pressure cannot be maintained.
Port Sizes, Orifices & Flow Capacity
The SAH Series is available in seven BSP port sizes, with flow capacity matched to the selected valve diameter.
3/8" BSP – SA14H – 15mm Orifice – Kv 64 L/min

The SAH Series is particularly suitable for applications requiring higher operating pressures than conventional general-purpose brass solenoid valves.
Steam applications are limited to a maximum differential pressure of 12 bar, and the selected valve configuration must be suitable for the intended operating temperature.
