3/8"–1" Brass Solenoid Valve 0.5–120 Bar NC – SAHHH
The CS Fluid Power SAHHH Series is a high-pressure 2/2 way normally closed brass solenoid valve engineered for reliable automatic control of air, water, light oils and steam in demanding industrial applications. Featuring a servo-assisted piston mechanism, stainless steel internal components and PTFE seals, this heavy-duty solenoid valve range operates with a minimum pressure differential of 0.5 bar and supports air and water pressures up to 120 bar.
Available in 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1" BSP female threaded connections, the SAHHH Series provides high flow capacities up to 220 L/min, making it ideal for high-pressure water systems, compressed air installations, industrial process equipment and automated fluid control.
The combination of robust brass construction, a continuous-duty WPG2 solenoid coil and fast switching performance makes the SAHHH Series a dependable solution for industrial systems requiring elevated pressure capability.
Valve Operation & Pressure Control
The SAHHH is a 2/2 way normally closed solenoid valve, remaining closed when de-energised and opening when electrical power is applied.
Its pressure-assisted piston design uses the pressure differential across the valve to support reliable operation. A minimum differential pressure of 0.5 bar is required for correct opening and closing.
The valve supports pressures up to 120 bar with air and water. For steam applications, the maximum permitted pressure is 12 bar.
Opening and closing times are specified at a maximum of 200 milliseconds.
Port Sizes & Flow Capacity
The SAHHH Series is available in four BSP female threaded sizes:
- 3/8" BSP – 15mm orifice, Kv 75 L/min
- 1/2" BSP – 15mm orifice, Kv 75 L/min
- 3/4" BSP – 20mm orifice, Kv 155 L/min
- 1" BSP – 25mm orifice, Kv 220 L/min
The manufacturer specifies these flow coefficients for the respective valve sizes, allowing selection to suit the required system flow and pressure differential.
Optional NPT threaded connections are available upon request.

Installation & Maintenance
The SAHHH Series should be installed with the solenoid coil upright, in accordance with the manufacturer's mounting recommendations.
A minimum pressure differential of 0.5 bar is necessary for correct servo-assisted operation.
Replacement WPG2 solenoid coils, piston assemblies and armature components are available to support servicing and maintenance.
Optional NPT threads and other custom configurations may be available upon request.
