3/2 Way Pneumatic Air Pilot Valve – Shako SK320 Series
The Shako SK320 Series is a compact 3/2 way single pneumatic air pilot valve designed for reliable directional control in industrial compressed air systems.
Available in 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" port sizes, the range provides increasing flow capacity up to 70mm² for pneumatic cylinders, actuators, machinery and automation systems.
Normally closed operation is standard, with normally open SK320N versions also available. Unlike an electrically operated solenoid valve, the SK320 is actuated entirely by an external pneumatic pilot signal, requiring no electrical coil, wiring or electrical power at the valve.
This makes the SK320 particularly useful for remote pneumatic control and applications where electrical actuation is unavailable or undesirable. Shako also identifies the range as suitable for flammable working environments due to its air-operated actuation.

Normally Closed & Normally Open Options
Normally Closed – SK320
The standard SK320 configuration is normally closed.
Without a pneumatic pilot signal, the valve remains in its normal position. Applying sufficient pilot pressure operates the valve and switches the pneumatic flow path.
Removing the pilot signal allows the valve to return automatically to its normal position.
Normally Open – SK320N
An optional normally open configuration is available by specifying the SK320N acting style.
This reverses the normal pneumatic state for applications requiring airflow in the valve's unactuated position.
The manufacturer's ordering chart specifically identifies blank as normally closed and N as normally open.
Pneumatic Pilot Operation
The SK320 replaces electrical solenoid actuation with an external compressed-air pilot signal.
A pilot pressure of 1.5 to 7 Bar operates the valve, allowing one pneumatic circuit to control another without requiring electrical wiring or a solenoid coil at the valve.
Shako specifically describes the valve as being actuated by air for accurate response and suitable for flammable working environments.
This makes the SK320 particularly useful for fully pneumatic machinery, remote control circuits and installations where avoiding electrical actuation at the valve is beneficial.
