Pneumatic Shuttle Valve & Double Pressure Valve – ST / STH Series


The ST / STH Series is a compact range of pneumatic logic valves designed for automatic air signal selection and double-pressure control in industrial compressed air systems.

The ST shuttle valve automatically selects between two pneumatic input signals and provides a single output, while the STH double pressure valve requires pressure at both inputs before an output signal is produced.

Manufactured from robust aluminium alloy, these compact pneumatic valves provide simple, reliable control without electrical power and are ideal for machine automation, pneumatic logic circuits, control panels and industrial equipment.

Valve Function & Operation

ST – Shuttle Valve
The ST shuttle valve has two pneumatic input ports and a common output.
When pressure is applied to either input, the internal shuttle automatically directs the available pneumatic signal to the outlet while isolating the opposite input.
Where different pressures are present at the two inputs, the valve selects the higher pressure and routes it to the common outlet.
This provides a simple pneumatic OR logic function and allows equipment to be controlled from either of two independent pneumatic signals or air supplies.

STH – Double Pressure Valve
The STH double pressure valve provides a pneumatic AND logic function.
Pressure must be present at both X and Y input ports before the valve produces an output signal.
If pressure is removed from either input, the output signal is lost.
This makes the STH particularly useful for pneumatic logic, interlocking and control circuits where two independent pneumatic conditions must be satisfied before an output is permitted.
