1/4" 5/3 Way Double Solenoid Pneumatic Valve – BM530D
The BM530D is a high-flow 1/4" 5/3 way double solenoid pneumatic valve designed for precise directional control of double-acting pneumatic cylinders and air actuators.
Available with X (Exhaust Centre) or Y (Pressurised Centre) spool configurations, the BM530D provides a defined centre condition when neither solenoid is energised, making it ideal for pneumatic systems requiring controlled neutral-state operation.
Its compact 22mm anodised aluminium body, internal pilot operation, lockable manual overrides and manifold mounting capability make it suitable for industrial automation, OEM machinery and pneumatic control systems.

Centre Function Options
X – Exhaust Centre
When neither solenoid is energised, both cylinder ports are connected to exhaust, allowing both sides of the actuator to depressurise.
This configuration is suitable for pneumatic systems where actuator pressure needs to be released when the valve returns to its neutral centre position.
Y – Pressurised Centre
When neither solenoid is energised, both cylinder ports are connected to the pressure supply, maintaining pressure on both sides of the actuator.
This configuration is suitable where both actuator ports need to remain pressurised while the valve is in its neutral centre position.
Double Solenoid Operation
The BM530D uses two independently controlled solenoids to shift the valve spool between its two operating positions.
Energising one solenoid shifts the spool in one direction, while energising the opposite solenoid shifts it in the other direction.
When neither solenoid is energised, the valve automatically returns to its selected X or Y centre position.
The lockable manual overrides allow valve operation during commissioning, machine setup, maintenance and functional testing without electrical power.
