1/4" NAMUR Pneumatic Solenoid Valve – CY520-02D 5/2 Way
The CY520-02D is a high-flow 1/4" 5/2 way NAMUR double solenoid pneumatic valve designed for direct mounting onto quarter-turn pneumatic actuators used with ball valves, butterfly valves and process control equipment.
Featuring internal pilot operation and double-solenoid bistable control, the CY520-02D maintains its last selected spool position after the electrical signal is removed. The opposite solenoid is energised to reverse the valve position, providing reliable directional control of double-acting pneumatic actuators.
Designed to the NAMUR VDI/VDE 3845 mounting standard, the CY520-02D combines a 35mm² effective flow area, lockable manual overrides, IP65 protection and 100% continuous-duty operation. Optional ATEX / IECEx and Intrinsically Safe solenoid operators are available for hazardous-area applications.

Double Solenoid Operation
The CY520-02D uses two solenoids to provide bistable directional control of double-acting pneumatic actuators.
Energising one solenoid shifts the valve spool to one operating position, directing compressed air to one actuator chamber while exhausting the opposite chamber.
After the electrical signal is removed, the spool remains in its last selected position. Energising the opposite solenoid shifts the spool to the reverse position and reverses the pneumatic supply and exhaust connections.
This bistable operation is particularly useful where the valve must maintain its last commanded position without continuously energising a solenoid coil.
The lockable manual overrides allow commissioning, maintenance and functional testing without electrical power.
