1/4" NAMUR Pneumatic Solenoid Valve – CY520-02S 5/2 Way
The CY520-02S is a high-flow 1/4" 5/2 way NAMUR single solenoid pneumatic valve designed for direct mounting onto quarter-turn pneumatic actuators used with ball valves, butterfly valves and process control equipment.
Featuring internal pilot operation with single-solenoid spring return, the CY520-02S automatically returns to its normal position when electrical power is removed. Its 35mm² effective flow area provides high pneumatic flow for fast, dependable operation of double-acting pneumatic actuators.
Designed to the NAMUR VDI/VDE 3845 mounting standard, the CY520-02S combines direct actuator mounting, lockable manual override, IP65 protection and 100% continuous-duty operation. Optional ATEX / IECEx and Intrinsically Safe solenoid operators are available for hazardous-area applications.

Single Solenoid Operation
The CY520-02S uses a single-solenoid, spring-return internal pilot design for controlling double-acting pneumatic actuators.
Energising the solenoid shifts the valve spool, directing compressed air to one actuator chamber while exhausting the opposite chamber.
When electrical power is removed, the internal spring automatically returns the spool to its normal position, reversing the pneumatic supply and exhaust connections.
This provides a defined valve position following loss of the electrical control signal.
The lockable manual override allows commissioning, maintenance and functional testing without electrical power.
