Pneumatic Sleeve Vent Valve 3/2 Way Manual Shut-Off – HV Series
The HV Series pneumatic sleeve vent valve is a compact 3/2 way manual shut-off and exhaust valve designed for simple isolation and depressurisation of compressed air systems.
Operated by sliding the outer sleeve by hand, the valve allows the downstream pneumatic supply to be switched on or isolated without electrical power. When switched off, the downstream air is vented, allowing residual pressure in pneumatic equipment or air treatment systems to be released.
With male-to-female inline connections from 1/8" to 1/2", the HV Series can be installed directly into pneumatic pipework or used with compatible FRL air treatment equipment. BSP threads are standard, with NPT versions available.

Sleeve Valve Operation
The HV uses a simple sliding sleeve to manually control the compressed-air supply.
In the ON position, compressed air passes through the valve to the downstream pneumatic equipment.
Sliding the sleeve to the OFF position isolates the incoming compressed-air supply and vents trapped downstream air through the valve exhaust.
This provides a simple mechanical means of isolating and depressurising pneumatic equipment before adjustment, servicing or maintenance.
Inline Installation
The male-to-female connection arrangement allows the HV valve to be installed directly between pneumatic components without requiring a separate adaptor.
Typical Applications
Pneumatic system isolation
FRL air treatment systems
Compressed air shut-off
Downstream pressure venting
Pneumatic machinery
Machine maintenance
Pneumatic control panels
OEM machinery
Assembly equipment
Packaging machinery
Workshop compressed-air systems
Pneumatic test equipment
Safety & Maintenance Use
Because the HV Series both isolates the incoming compressed-air supply and vents downstream pressure, it is particularly useful where pneumatic equipment needs to be manually depressurised before maintenance or adjustment.
The simple mechanical sleeve operation requires no electrical control signal and provides local control directly at the pneumatic installation.
Important: The HV is a manual pneumatic isolation and venting valve. Where a specific machine-safety, lockout/tagout or monitored safety function is required, the complete installation should be assessed against the applicable machinery safety requirements.
Quality & Reliability
The HV Series combines a simple 3/2 way pneumatic operating principle with compact nickel-plated brass construction for dependable manual compressed-air isolation.
Its inline male-to-female design makes it particularly convenient for pneumatic machinery, FRL assemblies and compressed-air installations where a compact local shut-off and venting point is required.
