2/2 & 3/2 Way Mechanical Pneumatic Valve – MSV201 Series
The Shako MSV201 Series is a miniature mechanical pneumatic control valve designed for fast, reliable switching of compressed air in machinery, automation and pneumatic control systems.
Available as either the MSV20122 2/2 way valve or MSV20132 3/2 way valve, the compact forged brass construction combines an 8.5mm² effective flow area with zero minimum operating pressure and a low-force pin actuator.
The threaded M12 × P1.0 mounting section and 12mm panel diameter make the MSV201 particularly suitable for installation in control panels, machinery and OEM equipment where space is limited. The manufacturer specifically highlights its miniature size, quick response and comparatively large flow capacity.

The MSV20122 provides simple mechanical ON/OFF control of a compressed-air supply.
Depressing the pin actuator mechanically operates the internal valve mechanism, allowing the valve to be incorporated into machinery where movement of a component, cam, lever or other mechanical device needs to generate a pneumatic switching function.
The direct mechanical design requires no electrical supply, solenoid coil or external pilot pressure.
MSV20132 – 3/2 Way Operation
The MSV20132 provides a 3/2 way pneumatic switching function with an additional exhaust path.
The manufacturer's dimensional drawing on page 1 shows the exhaust passing through the top of the actuator stem, with the exhaust opening specified as approximately Ø2.5mm.
This makes the MSV20132 suitable for mechanically generating pneumatic pilot signals and controlling small single-acting pneumatic devices.
Mechanical Pin Actuation
Both valves use a compact spring-return mechanical pin with approximately 3.2mm full travel.
The specified force for full stem actuation is 53oz nominal, equivalent to approximately 15N.
This allows the valve to be operated directly by moving machine components, cams, slides or other mechanical mechanisms without requiring an electrical control signal.
Mounting & Installation
The MSV201 has a compact 22.2mm wide forged brass body with an M12 × P1.0 threaded actuator mounting section.
A 12mm panel mounting diameter allows the valve to be installed through machinery panels or mounting plates, with the mechanical pin positioned where it can be operated manually or by moving equipment.
