ATEX Ex d 3/2 Way Solenoid Valve 0–63 Bar – Rotex 30126, 30206 & 30310
The Rotex 30126, 30206 and 30310 are ATEX Ex d explosion-proof 3/2 way solenoid valves designed for hazardous-area control of air, water, gases, vacuum and compatible process fluids.
Available in normally closed, normally open and universal 3/2 way functions, the range uses a direct-acting design requiring no minimum pressure differential.
Normally closed and normally open versions operate from vacuum through to 63 Bar, while the universal version is rated up to 32 Bar.
With 316 stainless steel CF8 construction as standard, bubble-tight shut-off, vibration resistance to 9G and a design life exceeding 10 million cycles, these valves are suited to demanding chemical, petrochemical, gas, process and industrial automation applications.
Valve Function & Operation
Three valve functions are available:
30126: 3/2 way normally closed
30206: 3/2 way normally open
30310: 3/2 way universal
Operation: Direct acting
The direct-acting design allows operation from zero pressure differential and is also suitable for high-vacuum applications down to 10⁻⁶ Torr.
Normally closed and normally open versions are rated up to 63 Bar depending on the selected orifice.
The universal 30310 version is rated up to 32 Bar.

The combination of direct-acting operation and multiple orifice sizes allows the valve to be selected for either higher-pressure shut-off or increased flow capacity.

Three Functions – One Valve Platform
The Rotex range provides three different 3/2 way ATEX solenoid valve functions within the same high-performance platform.
Choose the 30126 normally closed version where the required de-energised condition is closed, the 30206 normally open version where flow must be maintained during power loss, or the 30310 universal version where flexible port configuration is required.
With direct-acting operation, pressure capability up to 63 Bar, high-vacuum compatibility and Ex db / Ex tb hazardous-area protection, the range provides a compact solution for demanding industrial and process control applications.
