5/3 Way Double Solenoid Pneumatic Valve – AM530-01D
The AM530-01D is a compact 1/8" 5/3 way double solenoid pneumatic valve designed for precise directional control of double-acting pneumatic cylinders and air actuators. Combining a compact 18mm anodised aluminium valve body with efficient internal pilot operation, it provides dependable pneumatic switching while minimising installation space.
Available with pressure centre (Y) or exhaust centre (X) spool configurations, the AM530-01D provides a defined centre position when both solenoids are de-energised. This makes it ideal for industrial automation, OEM machinery, pneumatic control panels and applications requiring cylinder holding or controlled depressurisation.

Double Solenoid Operation
The AM530-01D uses two independently energised solenoids to shift the valve spool in either direction.
Power applied to one solenoid shifts the spool to one operating position.
Power applied to the opposite solenoid shifts the spool to the alternate operating position.
When neither solenoid is energised, the valve automatically returns to its defined centre position.
The manual override allows valve operation during commissioning, machine setup, maintenance and fault diagnosis without electrical actuation.
Centre Spool Options
X – Exhaust Centre
When both solenoids are de-energised, both actuator ports are connected to exhaust, allowing the cylinder or actuator to depressurise.
This configuration is useful where controlled venting or depressurisation is required when the valve returns to its centre position.
Y – Pressure Centre
When both solenoids are de-energised, pressure is supplied to both actuator ports, helping to maintain the cylinder or actuator position under normal operating conditions.
This configuration is useful for positioning, clamping and applications where pressure should remain applied when the valve is centred.
