1/2" 5/2 Way Double Solenoid Pneumatic Valve – PU52004D
The PU52004D is a high-flow 1/2" 5/2 way double solenoid pneumatic valve designed for reliable directional control of double-acting pneumatic cylinders and actuators. Featuring internal pilot operation and bistable double-solenoid control, it provides dependable pneumatic switching for industrial automation, OEM machinery and pneumatic control systems.
With a large 70mm² effective flow area, the PU52004D provides excellent flow capacity for larger pneumatic cylinders and actuators where fast response and reliable directional control are required.
Unlike a single-solenoid spring-return valve, the PU52004D maintains its last switched position until the opposite solenoid is energised. With a surface-anodised aluminium body, manual overrides, IP65 protection and optional ATEX / IECEx explosion-protected coils, it provides reliable continuous-duty operation in demanding industrial compressed air applications.

Double Solenoid Operation
The PU52004D uses a double-solenoid internal pilot design to control double-acting pneumatic cylinders and actuators.
Energising one solenoid shifts the valve spool to one operating position, directing compressed air to one actuator port while exhausting the opposite port.
Energising the opposite solenoid shifts the spool to the reverse operating position, reversing the airflow to the actuator.
The bistable design allows the valve to remain in its last switched position after the electrical signal is removed. The valve changes position only when the opposite solenoid is energised.
The manual overrides allow commissioning, maintenance and functional testing without electrical power.
